How long have you been around?
We were founded in 2019. Since then, we’ve built a personal finance community of over 50K people, offered financial literacy to over 5K people and worked with hundreds to build and invest towards goal-based financial plans.
Do I need prior financial knowledge for this session?
No you don't! Come as you are and we'll co-create a financial plan based on your goals and refined by our expertise
What if I need follow-up sessions?
We aim to build the plan in 1 or 2 sessions and offer email support for 3 months. In case they're any major changes to consider in the plan, you can book a follow up session to make adjustments.
Do you work with couples?
We welcome couples with shared financial goals and shared finances
What exactly is Africa's Pocket Investment Platform?
This is a digital goal setting and investing platform that makes it easy to invest towards multiple goals in a diversified portfolio.
When you sign up, you can build a personalised financial plan for each of your goals. Then, we can help you invest towards your goals, whether that's buying a home, going on an annual vacation or investing for retirement.
Where and how will you invest my money?
We only invest in highly vetted opportunities. We'll match your goals to a tailored portfolio.
For goals that are maturing in the next three months, we invest the funds in liquid assets like Money Market Funds & Fixed deposits.
For goals that are further out, we invest in long-term assets like government bonds, real estate and shares.
Is my money safe? (Do you have a license? Are you regulated?)
Yes it is! We are a financial planning and investment management company. Our goal is to help our customers make financial plans and invest towards them in safe, predictable investments. To achieve this, we're licensed as a SACCO which allows as to legally take deposits and invest on behalf of our customers. We have also partnered with various asset managers like Sanlam and Faida Investment Bank who manage our customers' money. Please note, we do not offer loans.
What happens when I want to withdraw my money?
It's your money, so you'll always have access to it.
We have two types of investments, short & long-term.
Short term funds are always available to you.
Long-term goals have a lock-in period depending on when your goals will come due.
How much does this cost?
The cost to use the platform is KES. 1,000 per month. If you pay this anually, it costs KES. 10,000 and you'll get two months for free!
How do I know what the return is?
The return of your portfolio is based on the market conditions and the opportunities available.
With current market conditions, we project returns of up to 13% p.a. for long-term goals and 7.5% p.a. for short term goals.
Our minimum recommended investment amount is KES. 20,000 per month to really see an impact.
You can track your annualized return & absolute interest you've earned onyour dashboard and in your detailed goals view.
We'll also share our overall portfolio perfomance at the end of each financial year during our AGMs

Pricing varies by service: 1:1 Financial Advisory: KES. 33,995 per session Investing: KES. 10,000 per year or KES. 1,000 per month Panda Workshops: KES. 8,995 for individuals or KES. 20,995 for groups of 3 Roadmap to Wealth Course: $250 for life-time access

Can I get a refund?
Due to the nature of our services, refunds are not provided. However, we allow rescheduling for advisory sessions and workshop attendance.
